From 1952 when Veronesi was established, to 1958 when the first feed mill was opened, to 2002 when the Negroni trademark was acquired: the Veronesi Group is constantly growing and today includes some of the most important names in the Italian agroindustry.

Veronesi’s animal feed production started when the company was established in 1958 and today totals nearly 2.5 million tons per year. This important result was obtained by optimising resources according to nutritional needs.
POULTRY
The poultry production of Veronesi Group has grown from 9,500 tons per year in 1970 to 300,000 tons per year. Poultry is distributed fresh, frozen and processed.
TURKEYS
Veronesi Group started developing turkey farming in Italy as a valid and more cost-effective alternative to beef during the early 1970s.
Since then, consumption of turkey in Italy has increased five-fold, and production has grown from 2,500 to 200,000 tons per year.
EGGS
Over 1 billion eggs per year. This goal has made Veronesi Group the sector leader in Italy. Our quality is monitored step-by-step and our eggs are distributed to retail outlets and processing industries.
RABBITS
The experience of Veronesi Group in poultry farming sector was carried across and has provided remarkable results in a numerically smaller, yet equally important sector: that of rabbit farming with a total today of over 7 million rabbits per year.
PIGS
Veronesi Group has been involved in the swine farming sector since 1985. Springing from the experience of acquired companies and strategic business decisions, today Negroni S.p.A. - present on the market with the Negroni, Montorsi, Fini and Daniel trademarks - counts a yearly production of 700,000 pigs which are slaughtered and dressed for fresh meat and processed products.
BEEF
Veronesi Group is directly involved in the raising of the most prestigious livestock. With a total of 30,000 heads, the Group is one of the most qualified operators in the sector.
